This walk was in the next town. We often go there if we want to walk with Bella in the forest.
The walk started in that forest but the paths were new to me. We usually start somewhere else and I can’t remember being on the trails I walked on today. After this forest we walked towards the palace where Queen Juliana used to live but before we got there we turned right, back to the forest.
We had to cross a road and from there on I walked where I never have been before. It was a very nice trail. After a while the 15K and 25K walkers went in another direction and from that point (after an hour) it was most of the time just me and Bella in a very quiet peaceful forest. I loved that.
The weather was perfect for walking, it started to rain when I was driving home, we were lucky with the dry weather. I think about 95% of this walk was in a forest which I love and it was fun because most of it was new to me too. I really enjoy exploring my country this way.
Enjoy our walk:
Someone is ready to go, can you see who it is?
On the one end of this road you can see the needle above, on the other end the palace where the former queen Juliana lived. We have visited this palace a few years ago and when you are on the steps of the palace you can see the needle. It’s a straight line.
